ClearConnect is an alternative to braces and uses clear, plastic aligner trays to gradually straighten your teeth. Your provider takes an impression of your teeth to create a 3-D model of your mouth. Who is a good candidate for ClearConnect?

How does ClearConnect Work?

ClearConnect uses clear plastic aligners during a four-phase aligner therapy. The aligners are worn all of the time, with the exception of when you’re eating and drinking or brushing and flossing your teeth. As you complete each phase and set of aligners, you will see noticeable differences in your smile. Periodic checkups with Infinity Dental Group are required to ensure your progress is on track and to receive your next set of aligners. Treatment time can vary based on your individual needs.

The biggest benefit of ClearConnect over traditional braces is that ClearConnect is virtually invisible. If you’re self-conscious about your teeth, the metal wires and brackets of braces only draw more attention to them as you go through the alignment process. While ClearConnect is intended to be worn about 22 hours a day, you take them out to eat and clean your teeth. That allows for more complete and thorough cleanings than what’s possible with metal braces. Since ClearConnect is removable there are also no food restrictions.
